About our Pastor

Pastor Jeff has been an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene since 1989. He graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a BA degree in religion and received a M. Div. (Masters of Divinity) degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. He served as a lead pastor in three churches in California (Oakland, Yreka, and Apple Valley) before moving to Central Oregon.

Jeff and Darla moved to Redmond in 2023 to be closer to their five children and five grandchildren. They live with one of Jeff’s daughters, Krista, who has Down Syndrome. Jeff was expecting to enjoy a semi-retired life, but God had other plans. Only a few months after moving to Oregon, Jeff was hired to be the first campus chaplain at Central Christian Schools in Redmond. In that role, he oversees chapels, counsels staff and students, and teaches Bible classes. He was asked to fill in to preach at Sisters Naz one Sunday in the summer of 2024, and the church asked him to stay. He became the lead pastor in November 2024.
